Blind Threaded Inserts
What is a blind threaded insert?
Blind threaded inserts are cylindrical fasteners, internally threaded, open at both ends with a flange at one end that can be installed into a prepared hole from the blind side of the fastening. The insert is threaded onto an installation tool and positioned into hole. As mandrel is pulled back, the insert is expanded and grips the base material. Removal of the mandrel completes the installation.
