Rivets

What is a rivet?

Rivets are permanent fastening devices that are designed to attach two pieces of material together. They are usually installed with a tool that crimps the rivet through a punched hole. The smaller end gets squeezed against the blind side of the material and essentially creates another head, binding the two pieces together. The most common type of rivet is a Pop standard blind rivet.
